Alden was born and raised in Austin, TX and started moving early on in his life. Throughout his adolescence, Alden's mother was an avid antique dealer. He gained valuable experience moving antique furniture, fine china and numerous other delicate objects. Through these years of experience, Alden gained an appreciation for the process of moving delicate objects without incident.

Alden graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree is Marketing. While attending the University of Texas, he worked in building operations at a downtown office building where he coordinated numerous office relocations and special events.

After graduation, Alden became the Operations Manager and Executive Director at Epic Health Services in Austin. In those capacities, he managed a nursing staff of over 300 people, executed weekly payroll and oversaw an office of annual billing of $14,820,000.
